If you didn't connect your Aero account to a QuickBooks Online account, you may want a little help getting all of your client information into Aero. Aero can import your client information for you to help you get up and running on Aero as quickly as possible.
A word of advice: Customer and Contact lists coming from another system can be messy and often contain duplicates. We recommend taking some time to clean up your lists before you send them to us.
The customer import will import one company with one default contact and one default email for each company. In Aero, Email addresses belong to contacts, not companies, and a contact name is required for each email address. So if you import a company with a default email address and no contact, a contact named "Unknown, Unknown" will be added to your Aero Database.
If you have customers that are individuals, the usual process is to put their name in as the company name (First, Last or Last, First - it's up to you), and also add them as a contact with their email and other contact information as needed.
You can import more than one default contact for each company. Simply add them to the template below. If you want a contact to be associated with a company, note the exact company name in the company name column (this is optional). To export a list of your Companies in Aero, navigate to Manage > Reports and click on the Companies tab. Then run the Customer List report.
Each contact can be imported with one default email address and other contact information. Again, if you list an email address without a contact name, it will be imported with "Unknown, Unknown" as the contact name.
Importing Email Addresses
You can import additional email addresses for each contact in Aero. Email addresses must be for contacts who are already in Aero. If the contact isn't in Aero, they should be imported using the Contact import template above.
Please make sure that the contact name is an exact match for a contact in Aero. To export a list of your contacts in Aero, navigate to Manage > Reports and click on the Contacts tab. Then run the Contact list report.
