Report: Aero Time Cost by Aero Group

This report generates a list of all open Aero Groups with the cost, profit, and margin for a specified time period. 

Report Defaults

• Filtered for Active Aero Groups only (no Completed or Canceled Aero Groups)
• Date range is Last Month. The information in the report is generated by time entries that are posted in the specified date range.
• Aero Groups are grouped by Company
• Columns:
  • Company
  • Aero Group Name - click the Aero Group name to drill down into that Aero Group
  • Aero Group Manager
  • Aero Group Type
  • Aero Group Status
  • Estimated Time - taken from the Estimated Time field on the Aero Group
  • Actual Time - total time recorded on all Aero Group Aeros for that time period
  • Aero Group Cost - Total time * hourly cost. The Hourly Cost is taken from the Hourly Cost Rate field in the Edit Team Member screen.
  • Aero Group Income - taken from the "Amt. Billed to Date" field on the Edit Aero Group screen
  • Profit (decimal amount)
  • Margin (%)

Print

Click the Print link in the upper right corner to save the report as a pdf or to send it to a printer.

Customize

Click the Customize link to see all your customization choices. The customization options give you the ability to create many unique reports based on this one starting point.

• Date Ranges- you can choose from a wide variety of date ranges: Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow, This Week, This Week To Date, Last Week, Next Week, This Month, This Month to date, Last Month, Next Month, This quarter, This quarter to date, Last quarter, Next quarter to date, This year, This year to date, Last year, Next year
  • Aero weeks run from Saturday to Sunday
  • Quarters are standard quarters
  • If none of the pre-defined date ranges work for you, you can enter a custom range.
• Filter Options
  • Aero Group Manager: All, or one specificAero Group Manager
  • Company: All, or one specific Company
  • Active Status: Active, Not Active (completed and canceled Aero Group only), All
  • Billable Status: Billable, Fixed Fee, All (this is the billable status of the Aero Group, not the time entries)
• Grouping Options- Grouping gives you subtotals for that specific group.
  • Company
  • Aero Group Type
  • Aero Group Manager
• Available columns - you can choose to see the following additional columns:
  • Open Aeros - the number of Aeros that are either Not Started or Deferred
  • Start Date - the Aero Group start date
  • End Date - the Aero Group end date
  • Billable - whether or not the Aero Group is marked as Billable
  • Fixed Fee - whether or not the Aero Group is marked as Fixed Fee
  • Active Status - whether or not the Aero Group is active
  • Estimated Price - taken from the "Est. Price" field on the Edit Aero Group screen.

Export

Click the Report to CSV button to export the report to CSV. Data will be exported according to your filter options. All columns will be included and the data will not be grouped in any way.

Memorize

After you have customized a report, you can click the Memorize link in the upper right corner to save your custom report so you can run it again. You'll be given a chance to name your report and even give it a description. The next time you want to run your custom report, click the Memorized tab, find your custom report, and click Run Report.
