While there isn't a way for you to merge duplicate customers in Aero yourself, we will help you clean up any duplicates in your Aero account.
If your Aero account is syncing with QBO, you must clean up duplicates there first.
- Make sue you are looking at the correct customer list in QBO. Aero syncs with the Customer list under Your Books, not the client list under Your Firm.
- If there are duplicates, merge them or make them inactive.
- Once you have only one version of the customer, find the ID number. Here's how to do that.
Contact Aero support to clean up duplicates in Aero
- Give the name of the duplicate customer. If the duplicates have different names, make sure you include all versions.
- Tell support the QBO Id number the merged customer should be connected to.
- Here's a sample support request:
Please merge the following customers into one:
• Smith, Robert
• Robert & June Smith
The QBO ID is 328
